NLPA ANNUAL MEETING
Thank you to every one who attended our annual meeting, held each year in August. This year there were about 75 people in attendance! We appreciate your attendance and input, as you are crucial to the success of the NLPA.
NORTH LAKE FIREWORKS DISPLAY
For more than 20 years Northlakers have enjoyed a spectacular fireworks display through the dedication and hard work of Dave Steinbach and his crew of volunteers. Many hours of preparation are necessary for this event. The fireworks are funded solely by donations from North Lakers. Please support them by sending your donation to Dave Steinbach, 13851 Sauer Dr., Gregory, 48137.
Located in the northwest corner of Washtenaw County, Michigan, about 7 miles north of Chelsea, North Lake is a lovely lake surrounded by a friendly lake community. Dedicated volunteers continually do water testing to insure the lake stays healthy. Others plan our annual fireworks display and boat parade. Thanks to all who make our lake community so great.
Camp Burt Shurly News
Camp Burt Shurly/NLPA Liaison: The Camp and NLPA are striving to improve communications and cooperation. If you have any comments, ideas, or complaints about the camp please contact Mary Lou Frendt, our camp liaison, at 475-3480. Please do not call the camp or camp personnel directly. This will avoid multiple calls to the camp and will foster a good relationship between the camp and their North Lake neighbors.
Camp Request: If you see someone using the camp property or equipment, would you please nicely ask them to leave. Not only is this a huge liability issue for the camp, but the equipment could be damaged and useless to the children. Let's be good neighbors. We don't want strangers using and playing on our property. Let's help protect the camp.
Donate To The Camp: If you attended our annual meeting you heard about the plans to improve the camp. If you would like to donate, please click here.

Protect The Turtle Logs
All boaters are kindly asked to stay away from the Turtle Logs. Boat props harm both the turtle habitat and the turtles themselves.
